PUMP TESTING PROCEDURE

OVERLOAD TEST

If the pump has a rated capacity of 750 gpm (3000 L/min) or greater, the apparatus must be subjected to an overload test consisting of pumping rated capacity at 165 psi (11 bar) net pump pressure for at least 5 minutes. The overload test must be performed immediately following the test of pumping rated capacity at 150 psi (10 bar) net pump pressure.
